To inspire millennials to recycle more and better, we teamed up with well-known celebrities to bring glass bottles in an endless chorus. This campaign was inspired by the findings of a 2017 Europe-wide survey commissioned by Friends of Glass alongside with research agency InSites, which found that while 85% of Europeans recommended glass packaging to their friends and family, millennials were less aware of its benefits.
So, in our quest to tell the story of glass recycling, we took over a bar in Brussels to spread the message in a memorable way. Our “singing bottles” took centre stage, surprising bar customers and inviting them on a musical journey through the decades.

Danish band The Bottle Boys partnered up with one of UK’s most successful rapper and comedian, Ben Bailey Smith – aka Doc Brown – to do a series of covers on iconic hits of the last 10 decades (1910s-2000s). They bring to life the likes of Louis Armstrong, Fats Domino, Petula Clark, Kool and the Gang, and Peter Bjorn and John for a mashup highlighting the different lives of glass and its benefits.
