When it comes to the environment, conversation about packaging waste usually flows back to one place: the ocean. It’s estimated that by 2050, there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish.

We believe that we can all play our part in protecting our ocean by cutting down on marine littering, and it starts with something as simple as buying and recycling just one extra glass bottle or jar each week. Glass is endlessly recyclable and widely recycled, free of contaminants and will never end up as micro particles in our food chain. Will you raise a glass and join us in celebrating the lives of our oceans?

In summer 2019, we built special checkouts in supermarkets all over Europe that triggered a marine life message of thanks anytime a glass packaged item is scanned. The reactions of Europeans were priceless.
